Just on half time Calne rallied with a ball out to their pacey winger scoring a converted try to bring the score to 10 -14.
Both sides restarted the second half with purpose, Melksham striking next with a run through the centre by Dave Dyke scoring his second, Bailey converting. The momentum with Melksham saw Phil Williams securing the ball and driving over for five more points taking the score to 10-26.
Calne sustaining the pressure in their half, now had their turn with an interception, running the ball all the way in for a try and conversion in front of the posts.
