THE mayor of Melksham along with 60 local business owners and neighbours came to help cut the ribbon on the former Quaker Spiritualist building in King Street, Melksham.
The former church was in a poor state of repair when purchased by Nick Denning and Roy Bertuello, owners of Procol Ltd. Their current office is directly opposite the building and they thought it heartbreaking to see a historical building in such a state of disrepair.
Roy and Nick, who have 20 years’ experience in office refurbishment, purchased the building at auction and drew up ambitious plans for this Grade 1 Listed building helped by local Architect Richard Harlow of A Harlow & Sons.
The impressive building is now converted into luxurious serviced offices bringing business to Melksham. Kingsbury Hall specialises in helping start-up businesses to get professional offices for an affordable rate.
Nick thanked the Mayor, Terri Welch and the people of Melksham for their interest in the building and for the support received from their neighbours during refurbishment.
