As part of the Orders of St John’s current campaign to ensure the elderly have a point of view in the forthcoming election, Brookside, along with BBC Wiltshire radio, are holding a question and answer session on Thursday 9th April, commencing 6.30pm.

Esther Thomas, home manager, Brookside explains, “A number of the local election candidates have agreed to come along and participate in this question and answer session, for those in the local area who are looking to make an informed choice when it comes to placing their vote in May.

“BBC Wiltshire are coming along to record the event which will be broadcast  later that evening and in the following days.

“If you have a question you would like to put to any of the candidates please drop your questions in to Brookside prior to the 9th April, and a running order can be arranged for the evening.

“Anyone with an interest in the election is welcome to attend what we hope will be an enlightening debate helping you to make a more informed choice in May.

“Many of our residents have questions they would like answered and we are sure some of the local community have too.  Light refreshments will be available. More information will follow, keep watching local press for details.”
