Become a Broughton Gifford parish councillor

BROUGHTON Gifford Parish Council have two vacancies for parish councillors.

Councillor Martin Freeman said, “It’s a great opportunity to serve your community. We will co-opt someone to fill the vacancy at our July meeting, which should be on 12th July. If you want to apply to be a councillor, all you need to do is send the clerk an email or letter that confirms that you meet statutory requirements to be a councillor. Also give your reasons for wishing to be a member of the parish council and finally explain what skills, qualifications and community experience you feel you will bring to the council.”

The deadline for applications is 4pm on Saturday 1st July. Please contact any councillor if you would like to know more about what it’s like to be on the parish council or visit www.broughtongiffordparishcouncil.org.uk for details.
