THIS summer Go Active will be providing free alternative sports for young people in and around Melksham.
These activities have been funded by the Melksham Area Board to provide opportunities for young people in the area to participate in a selection of sports that they may have not tried before. These activities are open to all 12 to 19 year-olds.
Tom Evans from Go Active said, “In Easter and May half term we ran free Zorb football and Battlezone archery sessions at five different venues in town and the surrounding areas. This summer we are back at the same venues every week delivering a range of fun, alternative sports including more zorb football and Battlezone archery. There is no need to book, just bring along a completed consent form which can be found on our website.
“If you would like more information or to email consent then email the name of your child, their age, any medical conditions and an emergency contact number and state that you give permission for your child to participate to firstname.lastname@example.org.
“We need parental consent for all participants under 16. Consent forms are also available at the Young Melksham youth clubs and have also been emailed through Melksham Oak school.”

• Every Tuesday – Lye Field, Seend, 11.30am-1.30pm
