A new shop has opened on Church Street that has been hailed as ‘just what Melksham needs’ by its customers, selling a range of bath bombs, candles, hand washes and microwaveable warmies.
The new shop ‘Caroline’s’, owned by Caroline Scott, had it’s official opening day on Saturday 17th March where she received positive comments from her customers.
“They all said what a lovely shop it is,” said Caroline. “They were excited as they all said it was just what Melksham needs. Already people are making lists of what to get people for their birthdays and Christmas. The comments have been positive all around and I couldn’t have asked for a better opening.”
Caroline’s sells a variety of branded products including Bomb Cosmetics, a company that uses only the finest natural ingredients in a range of products from bath bombs to soaps, body butters to essential oil burners.
She also stocks popular hair accessory Jo Jo bows, inspired by Youtube superstar JoJo Siwa, in a range of sizes and colours, and a selection of microwaveable ‘Warmies’ in a selection of different animals.
“My inspiration behind opening the store was that I used to make bath bombs at home,” Caroline added, “so once the time came that the kids went to school, I thought now was the time to open up my own shop.
“I hope to expand to a bigger shop eventually but for now, with my husband, Dean, we are running Caroline’s and it’s an exciting time.
“We stock a huge range of products that you would have to travel to either Bath or Swindon to get, so it’s great to bring it closer for the people of Melksham.”
Caroline’s also offer gift boxes, ideal for birthdays and Christmas or other special occasions, where you can personally select which items you want inside – giving you the opportunity to make your present to someone truly personal.
Caroline continued “Look out for offers for Father’s Day and other occasions on Facebook. Search ‘Caroline’s Bath Bombs’ and join the group. I will be doing raffles and competitions on our page for people to get the chance to win free products. We had a very successful raffle on opening day where a lucky customer got to choose a free gift box, so you could be next.”
Caroline’s is open 9.30am-5.00pm Monday-Saturday.
