THERE’S non-stop entertainment at Melksham Assembly Hall in the coming weeks.
On Friday 2nd August, the Assembly Hall will be taken over by hosts Ginger Jive for the Melksham Triple DJ Smooth Groove Freestyle.
Ginger Jive say, “Join us at the Melksham Assembly Hall for our next fabulous modern jive freestyle dance. Three fabulous DJs – firstly welcoming to Melksham for the very first time Smooth DJ – Dene Nevard, plus favourites Pete J and Kerrin too.
“Fab hall, licensed bar and free parking next door in Melksham House. Great music from smooth music to the modern jive favourites. Tickets £8.50 in advance or £10 on the door. The evening runs from 8pm to midnight.
On Friday 30th August, the Assembly Hall hosts Elvis v Jerry Lee Lewis: The Showdown.
Promoters say, “Who was the real king of rock ‘n’ roll? Elvis the Pelvis? Or The Killer – Jerry Lee Lewis? This is your opportunity to decide as the two come head to head!
“Be excited once more by the sheer energy of Elvis’ hits such as Hound Dog, All Shook Up, Don’t Be Cruel, Blue Suede Shoes and Teddy Bear and Jerry Lee Lewis’ hits such as Great Balls of Fire, Whole Lotta Shakin’, High School Confidentia, Good Golly Miss Molly and Breathless.

Tickets are £12, on sale at Melksham Assembly Hall. Tickets for this event are cash only and must be bought in person at the Assembly Hall.
