Have you considered being a primary school governor?

Story posted on

ALOERIC Primary School is looking for volunteers to join their group of governors.

They report, “If you are keen to support development, progression and advancement at Aloeric Primary School, the Local Governance Committee (LGC) is growing, with a number of vacancies for governors.

“The role of those serving on a local governance committee is an important one, ensuring local accountability of school performance to the trust. Our meetings are held six times a year, in the early evening, lasting for up to two hours.

“Pickwick Academy will provide induction and training to support the development of the new roles.

“If you are interested in becoming involved and supporting the next stage of our school’s development by becoming a member of our new LGC , please email a short expression of interest to:   ptimperley@aloeric.wilts.sch.uk, ideally by 30th October; outlining your strengths, career and/or experience.

“If this is not for you but you know someone who may be interested in this rewarding and fulfilling role please do let them know.”
