With local elections less than three months away, prospective candidates and agents are being invited to a webinar briefing to find out everything they need to know.
Led by Wiltshire Council’s elections team, the webinar will be an opportunity to find out about the arrangements and logistics involved for standing in the Wiltshire Council unitary and town and parish elections on 6th May.
The webinar takes place on Wednesday 24 February at 5pm and will be hosted on Microsoft Teams via this link – https://bit.ly/3rYFykx
The election timetable will be talked through in detail, and useful information and links will be shared. Attendees will also have the opportunity to have their questions answered.
Terence Herbert, Wiltshire’s Returning Officer, said, “It’s not an easy decision to put yourself forward for election, so this webinar will be an ideal opportunity for people to find out all they need to know so that they can make an informed decision and feel comfortable about the arrangements.
“Our experienced team will be on hand to provide all the information they need and make it a really worthwhile and productive session for them.”
