About Us
Melksham Independent News is a free fortnightly newspaper which serves the town of Melksham, Wiltshire and the surrounding villages. 13,000+ printed copies are distributed door-to-door free every fortnight and our digital edition is available to read online for free.
The paper was founded in 1981 and is packed full of local news about Melksham, its schools, clubs, organisations and people. The overarching aim of the newspaper is to bring local, quality, balanced and unbiased news to the community we serve.
Melksham Independent News is owned, produced and run by local people. It is published and printed by Wiltshire Publications Ltd, a family-owned business, with an office in Melksham Market Place.
