This helps to make it by far the best read newspaper with a large and loyal readership. Over 13,700 copies are distributed every fortnight covering Melksham and all the surrounding villages – Atworth, Beanacre, Bowerhill, Broughton Gifford, Holt, Seend and Seend Cleeve, Semington, Shaw, Whitley.

It has the largest circulation of any newspaper in the Melksham area, and is the only newspaper with a door-to-door delivery to all the surrounding villages. Melksham Independent News is owned, produced and run by local people.
