TV chef set to cook up a treat in Melksham at Leekes

Celebrity chef and TV host, Peter Sidwell, will be appearing at Leekes in Melksham on Saturday 24th May as part of a Food & Family Fun event in the store and will be serving up his favourite dishes for customers to try.

Leekes is giving customers the chance to see the chef – and host of ITV’s Britain’s Best Bakery – at Melksham’s leading home department store between 12.00noon and 2.00pm and will be preparing his famous delicious dishes in a live cooking demonstration from 12.00 noon in Leekes’ fully-functioning demonstration kitchen.

And as well as the cookery demonstrations there will be plenty to keep the family entertained with face painters, bouncy castle, food samples from local producers and the Heart Angels, along with their ‘Winning Whirlwind’ from midday until 4.00pm.

We regularly hold cookery demonstrations in the store but it’s a very special occasion to have a celebrity chef serving up their own recipes – along with tips on how to recreate the dishes at home.”
