Seeking volunteers for new Mind Charity Shop

Wiltshire Mind is pleased to announce that they are opening a charity shop in Church Street, Melksham.

Preparations are underway for the launch of the charity shop, hopefully in early June.

Julieanne Martin, charity shop manager said, “We are looking forward to opening a shop in Melksham and are now seeking volunteers to work in the charity shop. If you are interested in supporting the work of Mind and have time to spare, please get in touch.”

Chief executive, Carolyn Beale added, “This is a great opportunity for Wiltshire Mind to have a real presence in the town and to raise much needed funding through the charity shop which will help support Wiltshire Mind.”

The charity shop will support the work of Wiltshire Mind which is a local independent mental health charity based in Melksham providing county-wide services.

Wiltshire Mind is a voluntary organisation affiliated to Mind nationally, which does not receive any statutory funding.  Mind works towards a better life for people diagnosed (or not) needing support/treatment for mental illness.
