Youth work apprenticeship opportunity in Melksham

Applications are now open for a new and exciting opportunity for a motivated person to join the Young Melksham team as an Apprentice Youth Worker who will be working with young people in and around Melksham.

Young Melksham is a local charity working in the heart of the community and providing the unique opportunity for schools, organisations and groups to connect and make a real difference to the lives of the children and young people in and around Melksham.

The organisation, in response to the new Community Led Model for Youth work, has decided to jointly recruit a new apprentice youth worker to work exclusively for Young Melksham and help deliver a wider range of services to children and young people in the Melksham community area.  The role will supplement and extend the services offered and delivered by Wiltshire Council.

This role will enable the successful applicant, on completion of the apprenticeship, to be able to progress into a variety of youth work roles, with a clear portfolio of learning and achievements.

Visit www.youngmelksham.org.uk/jobs for more information about the role and how to apply.
Closing date for applications, Friday 21st August.
