Up to 40 jobs to be created at new Melksham pub

Preparations are under way for a brand new pub due to open in Melksham in March, and a recruitment will be held on Tuesday 9th February.

Up to 40 local jobs could be created by the opening of The Water Meadow, which has been built by Marston’s Inns and Taverns and can cater for up to 150 diners.

New managers, Paul and Claire have been appointed but are looking to start recruiting their team, both on a senior and front-of-house level. Jobs include assistant manager, supervisor/key holders, kitchen manager, chefs, waitresses/waiters and bar staff.

A recruitment event for these positions is taking place at Melksham Assembly Hall on Tuesday 9th February, and interviews are by appointment only.

Visit www.marstons   careers.co.uk or call 01902 711811 for further information.

“We’re really excited about this new venture, and we’re looking forward to greeting all our customers from the local community and around the area,” added Paul and Claire, who will be running the pub.

The Water Meadow, which will open near the new Forest and Sandridge School, is part of Marston’s new build development programme, which aims to deliver a range of newly built pub/restaurants around the country in 2016.

It will offer a 2-for-1 menu, with two main meals for the price of one every day, as well as a selection of other quality fresh beer and value for money authentic pub food.
