Melksham Comic-Con and The Kings Arms join forces

THE Kings Arms will be serving a special edition  beer to celebrate Melksham Comic-Con’s fifth anniversary.

To add to the fun and excitement of this year’s event, Wadworth Brewery will be providing a special edition Melksham Comic-Con beer, available on pump from Friday 26th August through to Monday 29th August.

Organiser Hayley Spencer said, “This is incredibly exciting for the whole team involved.  We’ve always had a brilliant working relationship with the management at The Kings Arms and being able to bring our very own beer to the weekend is the culmination of brilliant teamwork. It really shows what can be achieved when businesses and community groups work together.”

A competition will be run from 1st May to find a name for the beer. An impressive stack of prizes will be up for grabs for the winner, to include; souvenir pump clip, 5ltr mini cask of named beer, £25 bar tab, souvenir winner’s T-shirt and a weekend team-up ticket to Melksham Comic-Con 2016 (4 person entry).

Beer will be on sale throughout the weekend, with inhouse promotion to advertise the winner. The competition is completely free to enter and you can pick up an entry postcard from The Kings Arms or KomiX on Church Street from 1st May.

Closing date for the competition is 14th July, with the winner being announced on 30th July.
