Open day at village bowls club

Broughton Gifford Bowls Club will be holding an Open Day on Saturday 14th May from 11am onwards.

Suzanne Holmes, Secretary of Broughton Gifford Bowls Club says, “We are a small, friendly bowls club set in the village of Broughton Gifford. Our green and clubhouse are situated in a pleasant and tranquil setting just behind The Bell on the Common public house. There are both men and ladies’ teams who actively participate in various county, league and friendly games throughout the season.

“Our open day is an opportunity for you to try your hand at the game of bowls and may be take up a new hobby. Please come along and meet some of our members who will be available to provide advice, coaching and answer any questions you may have. Strength is not a requirement and skill can be acquired with a little practice!! Both new and experienced bowlers would be equally welcome.
