Model car club raises over £300 for charity

West Wilts Model Car Club raised £330 at a charity race day at MelkshamAssembly Hall recently.

Karen Potter said, “31 drivers participated racing radio controlled touring Cars, minis and touring trucks. The race fees and raffle money were donated to Cheltenham Hospital Trust to buy purpose-built adjustable chairs for their chemotherapy unit. Thank you to all the drivers who participated.”

The money was raised to add to a fundraising campaign set up by Julie Rowsell – donations can be made by searching Julie’s name at www.virginmoneygiving.com.
