THE family of Keiren Edney unveiled a special plaque at Melksham Oak School last month, in memory of the former pupil and teacher who died in September last year.
Family, friends and colleagues of Keiren gathered to see the plaque unveiled by Keiren’s parents, Louise and Dale who said, ‘Keiren would be so proud’.
“Thank you for this memorial, it means a lot to us all. Thank you also for the support you have given us, it’s been a very difficult few months and we miss Keiren, but this plaque means a lot to us.”
Headteacher, Stephen Clarke said, “It was important to us all that Keiren’s memory lives on, so we thought a permanent plaque in the school would be the best way to remember Keiren.
“Keiren was a hugely popular member of the school community. His absence has left a big hole and he is sorely missed by us all.”
