Pupils give poetry a go in Mother’s Day competition

CHILDREN at Forest and Sandridge recently took part in a poetry competition for Mother’s Day.

The competition was sponsored by Nationwide Building Society in the town, and three winners had their poems read out in an assembly and were given flowers to present to their mums.

Nationwide branch manager, Carli Caven said, “It was a joy to work with the school and the children really enjoyed the day!”
