Popular band will perform in Shaw

The well-known and highly popular Bratton Silver Band is coming to Christ Church, Shaw on Saturday 6th May to perform a special concert. 

Organisers say, “The band has appeared in a number of prestigious venues, both home and abroad, and was featured on Countryfile where they led the singing of “We Wish You a Merry Christmas” at the end of the Countryfile Christmas special.  We are very fortunate that they have agreed to come and perform for us in Shaw.

“The band, which has been going over 158 years, at present comprises some 30 members of all ages and competes successfully in regional and nationwide contests. This promises to be an enjoyable evening with live music performed to a high standard.

The concert on 6th May will commence at 7.30pm, with a refreshment interlude during the evening. Doors open from 7pm and tickets (£10 adult, accompanied children free) will be available at the door, but to book a ticket in advance and avoid disappointment, please ring Sue Evans on 01225 949911.
