MELKSHAM Cricket Club Over 8’s team are welcoming a new coach.
Jordan Rose has over 13 years experience and is qualified to level two standard in coaching with the England and Wales Cricket Board.
“I am very pleased to have joined the Melksham Coaching team,” said Jordan. “I have worked alongside the club in a professional capacity and have seen the club ethos and strength that the club has, following some unfortunate events.
“I am keen to offer my experience to help the club sustain and grow through youth development. Hopefully we can put in place a high quality youth programme built on links with the local schools to allow players of all ages and abilities to enjoy cricket.”
Jordan will be delivering the next entry level in cricket coaching in hard ball nets, batting, bowling, fielding and match play cricket.
The next session is on Friday 19th May at the Melksham House Cricket Ground from 5.00pm until 6.00pm. Sessions cost £3. Safety equipment & kit will be provided but players are welcome to bring their own. To book a place for your child please email place please edskippings@gmail.com.
