Netball club raises money for Wiltshire Air Ambulance

MELKSHAM Netball Club recently hosted a fundraising evening with some of the money raised going to Wiltshire Air Ambulance.

Representing Melksham Netball Club Teresa Strange said, “A huge thank you to all the support from the local community and businesses for Melksham Netball Club’s fundraising event. A whopping £700 was raised. A donation from this has been made to Wiltshire Air Ambulance.”

The event was supported by a number of local organisations and businesses, Teresa said, “Thanks to Melksham Rugby Club for hosting the event, borrowing extra chairs and tables from the Art House Cafe (Rotary Club) and looking after us so well.”

“Thanks to Melksham Football Club who let us pop next door and borrow even more chairs as a 100 people came and took part in the quiz.”

“Thanks to the Cobblers Bench who provided an engraved trophy for the winners of the quiz.”

“Thanks to the fantastic local businesses who provided raffle prizes including: Captured Moments, Whitehall Garden Centre, Melksham Beauty Clinic, CASA Italian Restaurant, Griffs Barbers, All about Beauty, Three Magpies, IN2SPORT, Chris Vick Sports Massage, Christie Miller, Yellow Dog IT services, Beavens Butchers, Boomerang, Alba Italian Restaurant, Nandos, City Fitness, Platinum Motors, The Barge at Seend, Libra Hairdressers, Waitrose, White Hart at Atworth, Costa Coffee and Party & Play (Trowbridge).”
