A LOCAL man says he is sick of the late night disturbance in Aldi car park and the supermarket chain need to stop ignoring the problem.
Chris Rose who lives in Foundry Close behind Aldi in Melksham says almost every night he and other residents are disturbed by drivers racing their cars in the Aldi car park, making noise and doing drugs.
“It’s beyond a joke now. I’ve lived here for 18 months and since I moved in there’s been nothing but problems.
“I’ve approached the manager and they’ve said they will be installing a barrier to stop people using the car park when the store is closed, but that was over four months ago.
“The police have been out numerous times but more often than not, by the time they get here, they’ve gone.
“Aldi clearly aren’t taking the complaints seriously. They say they are going to do something but then they don’t. It’s becoming unbearable.”
