Melksham 10k returns this weekend

Sunday 17th September will see the fifth running of the Melksham 10K sponsored by the Melksham Independent News.

The run starts in Lowbourne Road and takes a certified accurate 10-kilometre course over two laps taking in Blackmore Road, Spa Road, Snowberry Lane, Thyme Road and Sandridge Road before finishing off of Queensway.

With its flat course profile capable of producing fast times the Melksham 10K is proving to be one of the most popular races in Wiltshire.

Around two hundred runners are expected to take part and all finishers of the run will receive a commemorative medal and a goody bag. Prizes will also be on offer to the first three Men and Women to complete the course, as well as to the winners of the V40, V50 and V60 age categories.
