New Early Years provision at River Mead School

RIVER Mead School in Melksham has opened a new, exciting, refurbished Early Years provision for children from the age of 2 years.

River Mead School, which is one of the schools within The Mead Academy Trust, opened the new Early Years provision in the autumn. They offer morning, afternoon, full day and wrap around care from 8.00am until 6.00pm.

There are five learning spaces, which includes a large outdoor space, where children can explore and learn through play. The children also access the school facilities, using the hall, school library and school grounds which includes an all-weather multi use games arena.

If you are looking for Nursery or Reception provision the school is hosting a Christmas Stay and Play on Saturday 9th December from 10.00am until 12.00pm. There will be the opportunity to have a look around the large Early Years Unit and school, talk to members of staff, whilst enjoying some Christmas fun with your children.

The event is free of charge and you do not need to book in advance.
