Forest and Sandridge Primary School key stage two pupils tirelessly rehearsed for their school production of ‘Joseph and his amazing technicolour dreamcoat’, performing twice to an audience on Friday 23rd March.
“The children were all really excited to perform but also very nervous,” said acting deputy head Vicki Liddell. “We had a singing teacher, Noreen, in to help them as some students had solo songs.
“The children even rehearsed outside of school hours but they really did love doing it. The afternoon performance was performed to over 100 parents and the evening performance was completely sold out.
“A big thank you to all the parents who also helped out with the children’s costumes.”
The main characters were played by Grace as Joseph, Jago as the Pharaoh, Archie as Jacob, and Caitlin and Tash as the narrators.
