‘Village Get Together’, ‘Swishing Party’ and Elvis at The White Hart

LIVE music, ‘Swishing Party’ and a ‘Village Get Together’ are all coming up at the White Hart in Atworth in the coming weeks.

This Sunday, 27th May, the pub will be hosting its  monthly ‘Village Get Together’. Landlords Nathan and Kirsty say, “We have an afternoon of fun lined up. One word, bingo! That’s right – a chance of winning drinks, food, vouchers and more. As well as a special rock and roll round.”

The ‘Village Get Together’ takes place on the last Sunday of every month and Nathan and Kirsty are looking for help to organise future events. “The get together will involve entertainment and/or food from the village and a monthly meat draw.

“Fancy cooking for the village? Now is your chance! Come and cook with us in our kitchen with your own recipe.

“Do you play an instrument? Have a band? In a group? Want to exhibit something? We are looking for entertainment each month too.

“Feel free to email/phone any questions or suggestions.”

The ‘Village Get Together’ runs from 5pm until 7pm.

On Sunday 3rd June, the pub will be hosting a ‘Swishing Party’ to raise money for Atworth village.

Women’s and children’s clothing will be on sale and all items will be priced £1 and under. The pub is looking for donations of clothing for the event. The sale runs from 11am until 3pm.

For the afternoon of Sunday 3rd June, the White Hart welcomes an Elvis tribute act to the stage from 4pm until 7pm.

Elvis fans can expect to be taken on a journey through all three decades of Elvis’ career.
