THE White Hart in Atworth is hotting up the community fever as they host open mic nights, live music, charity events and skittles. You can enjoy all this entertainment with a pint and fabulous food.
The White Hart organise a vast range of events for local charities and village organisations. Over the years they have raised a whopping £39,098.31. This year so far The White Hart has raised £4,174.53 and hope to smash their record from last year of £4,851.53.
You can help them achieve this by taking part in their latest charity quiz on Monday 20th August at 8pm. The quiz aims to raise money for Coppershell Farm Sanctuary, who look after a range of adorable farm animals. As well as being a fantastic opportunity to support local charities, organisers promise a fun, friendly family atmosphere too.
For all the music enthusiasts, most Friday nights at 9pm you will find a range of bands from rock to pop, and 1960s to modern. But if you want a more relaxed atmosphere, Sunday afternoons are for you, with acoustic sessions, tributes and blues – there is something for everyone.
On Friday 24th August, start off your Bank Holiday weekend by supporting the Stoned F Band. They make their debut, 9pm at The White Hart, armed with a whole host of pop-rock classic songs, dating from the 70s to present, with an earful for guitar fans.
