Dorothy House Shops now OPEN SUNDAYS!

Did you know that the Dorothy House charity shops in Melksham are open on Sundays? They have both a furniture shop and a clothing shop opposite each other on Church Street.

The charity says, “Dorothy House Hospice provides free palliative care and support to patients and their families when it matters most. All profits from our shops go back into our hospice, and shopping, donating and volunteering in our shops is one of the easiest ways you can contribute to our cause. 

“Our clothing shop has a wide range of clothing, shoes and accessories, and our furniture shop has a variety of pre-loved items, from sofas to home décor.

“Did you know, we stock new mattresses and white goods in our furniture shop, perfect for new homes? We also offer free furniture collections, so please do contact us to discuss an item you would like to donate!

“Volunteers are wanted, particularly Sunday volunteers in both of our shops. Have you ever thought about lending your time to our charity? Your help is very much needed. You will be fully trained, and can get involved with all aspects of running a charity shop.
