Volunteers needed at Melksham Community Money Advice

MELKSHAM Community Money Advice are recruiting new volunteers to help them meet the demand of the local community.

A spokesperson for the group said, “We need support to grow so that we can meet the demand of the local community for free and impartial debt advice. There are two main ways you can support us, by becoming a volunteer or by making a financial contribution.”

There are a range of volunteer roles that they are currently seeking to recruit for: Debt Adviser Support – six hours a month; Debt Adviser – three to six hours a week; Treasurer – one to two hours per month.

The spokesperson added, “We rely entirely on grants and donations and any contribution will help towards the cost of training a new adviser or our modest running costs.”
