ARE you interested in bowls, and want to know more? There will be someone to help and answer your questions at the Broughton Gifford Bowls Club Open Day on Saturday 13th May from 11am.
The club says, “Everyone is very friendly so please do come along, receive some coaching and try your hand with the aid of our members. The game is suitable for both men and women of all ages and we have husbands and wives amongst our members. Our club play friendly games and also participate in league and cup competitions. Experienced bowlers who perhaps are looking for a new challenge will also be most welcome.
“Our green is situated in a beautiful. picturesque setting behind the Bell on the Common public house. All we ask is that you wear flat soled footwear and we’ll do the rest. Further details can be obtained from Vince or Sylvia on 01225 783332 or just come along on the day.”
