BIG laughs’ are on the menu at the Kings Arms next month as the pub launches its new monthly comedy night.
“People can expect to have their sides-split with some top quality comedy provided by three top comedians from around the UK,” said manager Stewart Hodgson.
Headlining the evening will be Sol Bernstein, who is in his 80s and calls himself “the oldest living Jewish comedian.” The Guardian describes him as “One part Alf Garnett, two parts Mel Brooks, and three parts like nothing you’ve ever heard.”
Former winner of Reading Comedy Festival New Act of The Year, Andrew Watts will also be hoping to have you rolling in the aisles with his posh boy humour.
And compère for the evening will be South West comic Tom Glover, who is described as an exciting and hilarious comic talent.
The launch night of the ‘Concorde Mango Comedy Club’ is on Friday 2nd June; the comedy starting at 8.30pm. Tickets are £20 and can be bought from the Kings Arms or by calling 707272. Please visit www.kingsarmsmelksham.co.uk for more information.
