The spring season of lunchtime recitals at the Rachel Fowler Centre will start on Thursday 15th February, with Curlew’s Cry.
Organisers say, “This is a new folk group to us, featuring two old favourites, Carmen Tunney on the viola and Phil Deverall on the guitar and a new friend, Debbie Warren on the piano. They have been playing and recording music together for quite a while and will surely knock the winter blues out of any audience!
“The recitals all begin at 12.30 and last about 45 minutes. Light refreshments are available from noon. There is no charge but donations towards the expenses of the Rachel Fowler Centre are always welcomed. Thank you.”
The next recitalist is John Gutteridge, a baritone, on Thursday 1st March.
