This year’s Melksham Party in the Park will take place at King George V Playing Field on Saturday 21st July.
“And what a party we have in store for you!” said Bruce Burry, of Party In The Park, “with several changes and more big news coming in the next couple of weeks.
“The headlining band this year are The Bootleg Bee Gees, the number one tribute to the legendary Bee Gees, bringing the house down with their incredible recreation of unforgettable songs written by the Gibb Brothers. Dig out your flares and get ready to boogie as “Saturday Night Fever” hits town. The trio will be singing all the greatest dance sounds and not forgetting ballad classics such as Massachusetts and Words and all those Bee Gees songs made famous by other artists, Chain Reaction (Diana Ross), Islands in the Stream (Kenny Rogers & Dolly Parton), Tragedy (Steps), How Deep is Your Love (Take That) and Grease (Frankie Valli).
“Stalls are now available for hire to anyone wanting to raise their profile at this popular event, offering an excellent opportunity for businesses to promote their goods and services. Once again this year party organisers are offering stalls free of charge to local clubs, schools, charities and other non-profit making organisations to promote their work and raise funds. Only a limited number of free stalls are available and they will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
“To book a stall please contact Anne Marie at ambpitp@hotmail.co.uk or call 07788400025.
