When One Voice Community Choir sang for Melksham WI last week, they included a selection of pop hits, film themes and show tunes spanning 50 years.
The audience at the Riverside Club welcomed the singers with much enthusiasm, but perhaps most thrilling of all was a chance to hear a ‘sneak preview’ of the forthcoming show: An Evening with James Bond: Music from the Movies.
The choir is now busy with the last few rehearsals before the one-night-only performance at Corsham Town Hall on 2nd June.
There have been 24 official James Bond films, six great actors portraying Ian Fleming’s British spy and countless famous themes, including Goldfinger, You Only Live Twice, Live and Let Die, For Your Eyes Only, Tomorrow Never Dies and Skyfall.
