MELKSHAM Seniors is appealing for anyone who applied to join the ‘Socialisation n’ Shop’ scheme, to contact them to pick up their ID card.
Hundreds of people have joined the scheme, which launched this year,and aims to combat loneliness and isolation for the older community and help support small local businesses in the town centre.
The scheme issues an ID card to members of the community over the age of 55. Local businesses participating in the scheme, then offer a discount on their products or services to anyone who has the Seniors ID card.
Anyone who has signed up to the scheme but not picked up their ID card should contact Rosemary Pritchard on 07719 041305.
