MEMBERS of Whitley Methodist Church have raised over £700 for Children in Need.
Church treasurer, Brenda Tate reports, “We have supported Children in Need this year with our tithing donation and a collection from amongst our congregation amounting to £513.
“This donation was made to the ‘Rickshaw Challenge’ and the amazing efforts of the children and TV presenter Matt Baker. It was also fantastic that The Hunter Foundation increased our donation by 40p in every pound, bringing our donation to more than £700.”
