MELKSHAM Bloomers are inviting residents to join them this weekend to help tidy up the town centre.
“Sunday 6th February sees the second of this year’s litter picks,” says Terri Welch on behalf of the Melksham Bloomers. “Looking around there is a lot of soggy paper in hedges, bushes and gutters. The lack of foliage makes it all stand out more.
“Why not start at home and pick up litter on your way to join us outside the Town Hall at 1pm. If you would like to do this simply call in to the Town Hall during the week and pick up the sticks and hoops from there. Then join the rest of the team tidying around the centre.
“But then you could just meet us at the Town Hall at 1pm on Sunday 6th February and join up with another person to tidy town centre places. Remember, 1pm to 3pm, first Sunday of each month to keep the town tidy.”
