MELKSHAM Community Meals is hosting a pancake race for the children at River Mead School to say thank you for their support.
Sue Mortimer said, “We want to say thank you to the children and staff of River Mead School for all their pictures, cards and letters done by the children, which we included in the monthly surprises delivered to our users during lockdown.
“Melksham Community Meals will be putting on a pancake race on Shrove Tuesday, which this year is 1st March, for the children at the top end of King George V playing field. The exact time will be announced nearer the time, but it is likely to be around late morning/midday. It is hoped that the weather will be warm enough for people to come out and say thank you and cheer on the children.”
