MELKSHAM Bloomers are on the hunt for volunteers to help with garden maintenance and painting benches.
“The biweekly work days are still carrying on every other Thursday at 10am-12pm, meet at the Town Hall,” says Bloomer member, Terri Welch. “It is good to see the plants coming to life again after their winter rest. The grass in the Friends Garden is dotted with snowdrops, primroses and violets, it seems a shame that they will soon be beheaded when we get the mower out.
“One thing that is on the ‘to do ‘ list is to paint the benches in the garden. Perhaps this is something volunteers could help with?
“If anyone is able to, but not at our usual work time, arrangements can be made for the work to be carried out at a time of their choice.
“Contact me on 702800 if you could do this job, or just come along on Thursday 23rd March to the Town Hall.”
