DURING the month of March collections on behalf of Marie Curie Cancer Care took place in the town at Sainsbury’s, Asda and Leekes.
A total of £1970 was collected and will go toward proving care for terminally ill people in their own home.
Organiser Pete Colegate said, “I would like to thank the stores that allowed us to collect at their premises, the generosity of the people of Melksham, and to those who gave up their time to collect the much needed funds.
