A Melksham primary school is celebrating the outcome of a recent Ofsted inspection after being recognised for its school culture, pupil support and curriculum.
Inspectors recognised Aloeric Primary School’s commitment to helping every child succeed, praising leaders for creating a culture of ambition where they strive to “do the absolute best for absolutely every child”.
Inspectors praised the school’s inclusive culture, effective safeguarding and “broad and ambitious” curriculum. They found that pupils feel “safe, happy and ready to learn” and that leaders work to ensure barriers such as disadvantage, special educational needs and anxiety do not prevent pupils from making progress.
The school’s enquiry-based approach was also praised for developing pupils’ knowledge and vocabulary.
Executive headteacher Lindsay Fry said, “We are absolutely delighted that Ofsted has recognised the dedication, care and ambition that staff bring to our school every day. This report reflects the hard work of our pupils, staff, governors, and families, who work together to create a school where every child is valued and supported to thrive.
“We are particularly proud that inspectors recognised the inclusive culture that has been built, the quality of our curriculum and the positive relationships that make Aloeric such a special place to learn and grow.”
The school is inviting prospective families to attend a parent tour. To book, call 01225 702563 or email admin@aloeric.wilts.sch.uk.
