Shaw Primary School is looking for two additional Governors.
The school is seeking people who are interested in children and their education and who would like to contribute to the local community.
The Governors are looking for residents to boost the existing team of enthusiastic and committed individuals. In an ideal world applicants should have some experience of business, finance or management but this is by no means essential.
The Governor’s role is primarily to support and challenge the headteacher so as to achieve the highest possible standards in the school.
Earlier this year Shaw School, along with six other schools in the Melksham area, became a member of the Melksham Multi Academy Trust.
