Seend Branch of the Royal British Legion is arranging a St George’s Day Supper on Saturday 23rd April in the Community Centre, Rusty Lane, Seend.
The evening will begin at 7.15pm with a dinner, dessert and cheese. Lt Col Robin Miller, Chairman of Shaftesbury Branch, Royal British Legion, who has spent 34 years in the Army, will be speaking on the subject “RAF Bomber Command 1939-1945”. The evening will finish with the Seend Singers raising the roof with patriotic songs.
Tickets are £15 and must be purchased in advance from Robin Heatley on 01380 828491, Marion Whitehead on 01380 828612 or Seend Post Office. There will also be a raffle. All are welcome including non-British Legion members.
