MELKSHAM’S 55+ Activity Group will meet again on Monday 5th September, when they will be trying a game of horseshoes!
The group will meet at Forest Community Centre from 1.45pm to 4pm.
Event organiser Terri Welch says, “Last month, the rain won and we were not able to throw the horseshoes, so we will try again in September. This is not as easy as it appears and requires concentration and a degree of skill, but most of all it is fun and good exercise!
“The usual raffle, refreshments and singalong make for an entertaining afternoon. If you have not been to this event before, you will be sure of a warm welcome and make new friends.”
Free transport is available from the community bus but must be booked in advance via the Tourist Information Centre – 01225 707424.
