With January in full swing, it’s time to abandon the leftover chocolate boxes, don your walking boots, and take in a breath of fresh air – and what better place to stroll than through a winter garden bursting with gleaming snowdrops.
Dorothy House Hospice Care is thrilled to invite you to Great Chalfield Manor, near Melksham, where Robert and Patsy Floyd are hosting an afternoon among the snowdrops on Sunday 8th February.
While plenty of winter gardens are known for their snowdrops, Great Chalfield is a unique treat. The manor is a 15th Century moated house, surrounded by the stunning garden of enchanting treasures. Meander among the breathtaking surroundings on this National Trust property while enjoying the glistening snowdrops.
Yvonne Brunton, Dorothy House community fundraiser said, “It’s an amazing opportunity to have such a breathtaking backdrop for a fundraising event which declares, ‘Spring is on the way!’”
