Thanks all that came to my aid on Saturday afternoon. I was cycling back from ASDA with a backpack of shopping when, at the double roundabouts at the junction of Forest Road and Sandridge Road junction, my heart stopped!
Thanks to the quick thinking of some passers-by and the great work of the police, ambulance service and paramedics I was given heart compressions and shocked back to rhythm. A Very Lucky Man!
Rushed to resus in the RUH and looked after in the coronary care unit for a few days with the backdrop of COVID, I find myself back home safe with only a very sore chest from the compressions.
Thanks all that were involved from A Very Lucky Man, His Very Relieved Wife and Family.
When the Pig and Whistle is allowed to open again there will be a thank-you celebration.
Thanks,
A Very Lucky Man
