A KENILWORTH Gardens resident found an unusual visitor in his garden this month.
“A deer appeared from the rear walkway to our garden and then had a staring match with a local cat,” explained local resident Mike Gorringe.
“It didn’t last too long, the cat walked off and the deer bounded off down our path back to the walkway, but first he head-butted our wooden slatted gate, knocking it off its hinges.
It then made a magnificent leap over the gate and disappeared! We read later on the ‘Sham Shout Outs’ Facebook page the deer had been spotted elsewhere!”
