ATWORTH Camera Club’s meeting on Monday 29th April was a members’ evening at which members were able to show some of their images on their two most recent themes of “autumn” and “winter events.”
Alan Lee from the club reports, “There was also an opportunity for members who missed out in February, to show their pictures from our previous theme “wildlife”. The images shown included a rather spectacular yellow and black caterpillar, an inquisitive fox, the colours of Stourhead and Westonbirt, the Milky Way above Durdle Door and snow scenes in Atworth, amongst many others.
“Clive Greenland will be showing us some of his Wildlife Images at our next meeting which will be held on Monday 27th May.
“For our June meeting David Webb will again be leading a photographic walk around parts of the village, which is expected to include a visit to Church Farm to see the old and new barns, and a vintage motor car.
“Our meetings are held on the last Monday of each month at 7.30pm in Atworth Village Hall, and the £2 fee includes refreshments. All are welcome.”
